CM Chandrababu naidu reviewed the Godavari pushkaram arrangements

Andhra Pradesh C.M. Nara Chandrababu naidu visited rajahmundry with officials to check the arrangements for the upcoming event of Godavari Pushkaralu. He visited the pushkar ghats and other parts of rajahmundry.

CM Chandrababu Naidu first went to Cherukuri kalyana Mandapam to inaugurate the 

State level disabled day celebrations. And after that he has reviewed the arrangements of Godavari Pushkarams with officials from various Government departments. He asked them to speed up the works from all departments for the Godavari Pushkaralu. He met officials from irrigation, roads and building, endowments, panchat raj, railways, BSNL and postal departments at R and B guest house.

100 crores for pushkaram

He said that they had released 100 crores in the budget for the developments and 

arrangements for Godavari pushkaralu. and he said that he will get funds from all possible 

sources, to take up the works and organize the event in a Grand level.

Rajahmundry as Green city

CM Chandrababu naidu asked the officials of Various government sectors to develop Rajahmundry as a 'Green City'. CM told to officers that Utilize the Kadiam Nursaries to make massive plantation drive in the rajahmundry to make it 'Green City'.

Swatch Godavari

CM Chandrababu naidu told to the officers to take enough care to keep godavari water as fresh as possible. and he told to officers to ask APPM (Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills) to not release the industrial wastage into the river godavari.

Development for Museum's in rajahmundry

  He also asked officials to develop the Museum's in Rajahmundry, like Sir Aurthor cotton museum and Damerla ramarao Art Gallery, and also Social reformer Kandukuri

Veeresalingam's residence. and He had a talk with Vijayawada divisional railway manager Pradeep Kumar and R&B Officials to make a plan in 10 days for proposed repairs of rail cum road bridge across Godavari.

statue on Godavari river side in rajahmundry. and Discused with irrigation officers 

to strengthen the present Ghats and make a plan to construct new Ghats.
